Texas Medicaid is failing children with disabilities. Medicaid services for Texas children with some of the severest disabilities have sharply declined over the past few years.
Due to Medicaid cutbacks, parents now fear for disabled children. Therapists are fleeing Medicaid due to reimbursement rate cuts. Cutbacks have restricted therapy and contributed to reasons why many groups have stopped Early Childhood Intervention.
