As we leave our homes, we need to be aware of how different environments and activities affect our risk of contracting covid-19 and bringing it home to our families. We increase the amount of virus we inhale by spending more time in a closed space or being sung at or spoken to for five minutes or more. Social distancing outside or while shopping, strolling around a large, open store, not so much.
